Job Type: Permanent, Part-Time, Full-Time, or Variable Hours

Responsibilities

• Give consumers great personal care by helping them with their daily tasks and meeting their specific needs.
• Ensure that those at risk of abuse are protected and report any symptoms of abuse.
• Assist patients with taking their medicine at the level of support agreed upon and as described in their individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Prepare meals that consider the likes and dislikes, nutritional needs, and cultural preferences of the people you serve, while maintaining cleanliness.
• Document service users' personal information, care plans, medical records, health changes, and other important information in the carer's notes.
• Use manual handling tools safely and correctly.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions when required.

Requirements

• Friendly, kind, and attentive to work with service consumers.
• Ability to cooperate well with others.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Honest, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Proficient in writing good documentation.
• A valid driver's licence and access to a car (helpful).
• Up-to-date Enhanced DBS check is a plus.
• Must be able to work in the UK.
