About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality, person-centered care for a gentleman in his home. The role involves supporting his daily care needs, including assistance with personal care, mobility, and ensuring his comfort and safety throughout the night. The client has complex health needs, including COPD requiring oxygen therapy and a history of recurrent chest infections. He may need assistance from one to two carers and benefits from reassurance as he can experience anxiety. You will monitor his wellbeing overnight, ensuring oxygen is in place, and respond promptly to any needs that arise.

Requirements

• Experience caring for clients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
• Experience supporting wheelchair users.
• Ability to use a communication device.
• Must be a driver.
• A proven track record of going above and beyond to help clients achieve meaningful social outcomes.
