Health, Safety and Environmental Manager - Manufacturing

£60,000-£70,000 (DOE) + £6,600 Car Allowance (or Company Car) + Bonus + Further Excellent Benefits

Location: Wrexham

Are you passionate about creating a safe and sustainable working environment within a manufacturing setting? Do you have experience driving health, safety and environmental standards in complex operational environments?

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to oversee safety and environmental compliance across a manufacturing site in the Wrexham area. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to maintain a high standard of safety and environmental performance across all operational activities.

The successful HSE Manager will:

• Lead the development, implementation and review of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and internal audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Promote health and safety awareness through training, communication and engagement with staff and contractors.
• Support the organisation's environmental initiatives and compliance with relevant legislation.
• Act as a key point of contact for external regulators and authorities.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong experience in health, safety and environmental management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Certification such as NEBOSH or equivalent, with a comprehensive understanding of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
• Experience of leading safety initiatives and engaging operational teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence safety culture at all levels.
