We are seeking an exceptional Health Club Manager to lead the operation of our luxury wellness and leisure facilities at Hunter's Yard, Mount Juliet Estate.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for wellness, guest experience and team leadership to join one of Ireland's premier five star destinations. The successful candidate will oversee the day to day management of the Health Club while ensuring the highest standards of service, presentation and operational excellence in line with Forbes and Marriott luxury hospitality standards.
Working within a dynamic estate environment, the Health Club Manager will play a key role in delivering memorable guest experiences across both indoor and outdoor leisure offerings, while leading and developing a high performing team committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the daily operation of the Health Club, gymnasium, swimming pool and wellness facilities.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences with a strong focus on personalised service and luxury hospitality standards.
- Maintain impeccable presentation, cleanliness and operational standards throughout all leisure facilities.
- Oversee the planning and coordination of outdoor estate activities and guest recreation experiences.
- Develop engaging seasonal wellness and leisure programmes that enhance the resort offering.
- Lead, motivate and develop the leisure team through coaching, training and performance management.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety procedures, pool plant operations and leisure regulations.
- Work collaboratively with estate departments to deliver a seamless five star guest journey.
- Drive continuous improvement across guest satisfaction, team engagement and operational performance.
- Uphold the values, service culture and brand standards associated with Forbes and Marriott luxury hospitality.
- Previous management experience within a luxury hotel, resort, spa or leisure environment.
- Strong leadership and team development skills with a hands on management style.
- Passion for wellness, fitness and guest engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong guest and team relationships.
- Strong operational awareness with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing luxury leisure facilities and outdoor guest experiences is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of health & safety legislation, pool plant operations and leisure compliance standards.
- A professional, energetic and guest focused approach with a commitment to delivering five star experiences.
