Position

Health Care Assistant - Part Time (5pm to 11pm shifts, Weekend required)

2 Elmdon Drive, Humberstone, Leicester, LE5 0BN

Pay

£12.71 per hour, increasing to £12.81 on completion of Exemplar Care Certificate.

About the role

Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care support to residents.
• Assist with meal times.
• Understand individual health and wellbeing needs.
• Encourage and support participation in social activities, both inside and outside the home.
• Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect.
• Complete and maintain care records.

Qualifications & Attributes

• Relevant experience and qualifications are valued but not essential.
• Demonstrates caring, kind, understanding and calm demeanour.
• Able to de escalate challenging situations.
• Energetic and outgoing with a positive, can do attitude.
• Excellent listener and communicator.
• Identifies with Exemplar Health Care values of fun, integrity, responsiveness, success and teamwork.
