Health & Safety Officer

Our client, a well-established main contractor, is currently seeking an experienced Health & Safety Officer to join their team on construction projects across Dublin.

The Role:

• Carrying out regular site inspections and Health & Safety audits
• Delivering toolbox talks and supporting safety initiatives across site
• Assisting with RAMS reviews, risk assessments and site-specific safety documentation
• Monitoring compliance with Health & Safety procedures and relevant legislation
• Supporting the investigation of incidents and near misses
• Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams and subcontractors to maintain high Health & Safety standards
• Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture across projects
• Supporting continuous improvement in Health & Safety performance

Requirements:

• 2-5 years' experience in a construction Health & Safety role
• Main contractor experience highly desirable
• Level 7 or Level 8 qualification in Health & Safety
• Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations
• Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive approach with the ability to engage confidently with site teams and subcontractors
• Experience with Procore or HammerTech desirable

• €65k-€75k depending on experience
