- Ensure Compliance: As the Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Project Information: Working our and carrying out safety audits on a large scale commercial project across sites in Ballina and Westport
- Conduct Inspections: Regularly inspect sites to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
- Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices and procedures.
- Audits: Carry out Safety Audits on a range of Construction Projects
- Incident Management: Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive measures.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Qualifications: Relevant health and safety qualifications.
- Driving License: Ideally, you should be a car driver to travel between sites in Ballina and Westport
- Attention to Detail: Strong observational skills to identify hazards and implement safety measures.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively train and guide staff.
