We're supporting a growing construction organisation to recruit a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to oversee and develop safety systems across the business. This key leadership role involves working both from the office and on-site across various projects, ensuring adherence to UK legislation and ISO standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The successful Health and Safety Manager will:

• Lead and support site inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Maintain ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 management systems, aligning with organisational goals.
• Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, HASAWA 1974, and Building Safety Act regulations.
• Support pre-construction and tender submissions with SHEQ input.
• Manage training programmes, deliver internal SHEQ training, and coach site teams to sustain high standards.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge of construction health and safety legislation
• Hold a NEBOSH qualification
• Experience with ISO systems.
• Proven leadership and organisational skills in a multi-site construction environment.
