Job Description
Occupli is supporting a leading global organisation in delivering a next-generation manufacturing facility in Cork. We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Lead to drive H&S excellence across a large-scale greenfield build.
The RoleLead Health & Safety across the full project lifecycle - from design and planning through construction, commissioning, and operational readiness. You'll ensure compliance with all regulatory and corporate standards while building a strong, proactive safety culture on site.
Key Responsibilities- Lead H&S planning, risk assessment, and compliance for a major CAPEX project
- Oversee contractor safety and site coordination
- Drive audits, inspections, and incident investigations
- Deliver training, inductions, and behavioural safety programmes
- Support commissioning, PSSR, and safe operational handover
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure site readiness
- 10+ years' experience in construction H&S within manufacturing environments
- Proven track record on large-scale projects (€50M+)
- Strong knowledge of Irish/EU H&S regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
