Job Description
Our Client is a leading provider of energy solutions specialising in reducing energy costs and delivering customised energy-efficient projects across Ireland. Renowned in the energy efficiency industry for delivering turnkey, energy-saving projects for residential, commercial, community, and public sector clients nationwide. Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor with experience working in the construction industry to join my clients existing team in Cork. Working with the Project Management and Administrative teams, you will have overall responsibility for the day to day Environmental and Health and Safety function of the business, as well as implementing policies, strategies and training to my clients company standard. Responsibilities Preparation and issuing of Risk Assessments, Method Statements & Site-Specific Safety Statements & Construction Stage Plans. Deliver my clients obligations to meet statutory, legislative and certification standards ensuring the team provide high-quality service to their customers and retain a positive safety culture. Organise and conduct regular site Quality, Health & Safety Meetings with regular reporting to Management. Work with PM and Admin Teams to Integrate & streamline Operations Quality, Health and Safety systems with 'Procore' cloud-based Project Management & Safety Management software package. Completing EHS Training for Employees & sole traders / contractors Management & maintenance of Safe T-Cert including auditing and continual improvement objectives Carrying out regular site, office / warehouse facilities inspections and audits. Help support Tender applications. Requirements Health & Safety Degree or Qualification. Minimum of 2 years in a relevant position in the construction industry essential Ability to deliver internal Health and Safety management courses Excellent organisation and communication skills. Confident in the use of MS Office.
