Job Location: Cork/Limerick, Sector: Civil

INFORM3 are seeking to appoint a H&S Advisor for a busy civils contractor in Cork/Limerick.

The right candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a strong health, safety, and environmental culture across multiple construction sites. The role involves ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, supporting site teams, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and industry best practices
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Develop and review method statements and risk assessments (RAMS)
• Provide guidance and support to site management and operatives on safety matters
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training as required
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions
• Maintain accurate safety documentation and reports
• Liaise with external stakeholders including inspectors and regulatory bodies
• Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., Diploma or Degree)
• Minimum 2-5 years' experience in a construction environment
• Strong knowledge of health & safety legislation and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively across multiple sites
• Full clean driving licence
