The Governors, pupils and staff are looking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic and inspirational Headteacher, with the determination and vision to lead the School at this exciting time in its history as it continues its transition from an Infant School to a Primary School. We have a thriving Nursery, Wraparound and Holiday Club providing an excellent service for our community; a Resource Provision is also in the process of being established. The successful candidate will therefore have the unique opportunity to shape the future educational provision for the children and families of the Brownsover community.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a passionate and committed leader, able to inspire, motivate and challenge, whilst promoting excellence
• Has a clear vision for the future development of the School underpinned by our values and ethos
• Is an excellent role model and is passionate about enabling every child to achieve their unique potential
• Demonstrates excellent management, interpersonal and organisational skills and has experience of leading significant change within a school setting
• Has an excellent knowledge and understanding of all phases of Primary curriculum and teaching from Nursery through to Year 6
• Puts safeguarding at the heart of everything that they do and has Designated or Deputy Designated safeguarding Lead experience
• Has knowledge and experience of school financial management

• Enthusiastic children who are excited about their learning and have a real pride in their School and their own achievements
