Head/Senior veterinary surgeon- Greater London

A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to take on a senior Vet position within a Greater London clinic. This full-time role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to bring their own leadership style, ideas and personality to the practice, while playing a key part in shaping its future.

The Vet will be responsible for maintaining high clinical standards while building strong relationships with clients and the local community. They will have the opportunity to grow the practice's client base and create a welcoming, high-quality experience that encourages clients to return and recommend the clinic.

A major part of the role will be supporting and developing the practice team. The successful candidate will be expected to create a positive and collaborative working environment, provide clinical mentoring and encourage colleagues to develop their skills and confidence. They will combine strong clinical expertise with excellent communication and a genuine commitment to both patient and client care.

The role will involve a varied mix of clinical and leadership responsibilities, Commercial awareness will also be important, with the Lead Vet working alongside the Practice Manager to support the clinic's performance. This will include making effective use of clinical capacity, understanding key performance indicators, preparing accurate estimates, supporting debt management and identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.

The successful candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon with proven clinical leadership experience. They should be confident in mentoring and coaching colleagues, able to influence positively and committed to developing a progressive clinical culture. A strong understanding of delivering exceptional client care, alongside the ability to work effectively as part of a team, is essential.
