Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Surgeon seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Sanctuary Personnel is excited to present a fantastic permanentHead Veterinary Surgeon position with one of the UK's largest veterinary retailers based in Scunthorpe.
The role is offering a salary of £80,000 per annum.
Working Hours:This position can be fully flexible hours, full or part time, with Saturdays on a fair rota basis, shared with the rest of the team. No on call, no OOH and no Sundays!
The team:You'll become a crucial part of a small, friendly team of 1 Vet (studying for a certificate in advanced surgery), 3 RVNs, 1 SVNs, 1 VCA, 2 Client Care Advisors and a Practice Manager, who are fully committed to the practice and our clients.

What we're looking for fromHead Veterinary Surgeon applicants:
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine from a recognised university.
- Membership in the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
- Previous experience as a veterinary surgeon is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary best practices and medical regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with clients and their pets.
- Ability to handle a variety of animals safely and effectively.
- Willingness to continually upgrade knowledge and skills in veterinary medicine.
