Head of Year 8-9 Lead Student Transition in New Build

Please note the employer for this position is The Fred Longworth High School, not Wigan Council Fred Longworth High School Printshop Lane Tyldesley Manchester M29 8JN. Salary: Grade 8, £36,363 - £40,777 per annum 37 hours per week working full year. Required for June 2026

The person appointed will be responsible for Year 8, transitioning with the Year Group into Year 9. The successful applicant will be joining the school at an exciting and significant time.

In October 2023, the school moved into a brand new building. The appointed person will be working in state of the art facilities.
