Salary: £55,000 £58,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Permanent, full-time (35 hours per week)
Location: Hybrid three days a week in London office

We have a brilliant opportunity for a Head of Trusts and Foundations to join the ambitious team at Whizz Kidz, the UK s leading charity for young wheelchair users. Reporting to the Director of Fundraising and Communications, you ll lead a team of five and shape the vision and delivery of trust, foundation, statutory and lottery fundraising.
This is a pivotal role where you ll personally secure gifts of £50K £1M, manage relationships with major funders, and create compelling funding proposals that drive income and impact. You ll work closely with service teams, finance, and senior leadership to ensure Whizz Kidz continues to grow its influence and support for young wheelchair users across the UK.
To be successful as the Head of Trusts and Foundations, you will need:
- Senior-level experience in trust and foundation fundraising, including securing six-figure and multi-year donations.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven leadership and team management experience, with a proactive and collaborative approach.
