The employer is a well-established organisation in the financial services industry, recognised for its stable growth and strong market presence. With a reputation for fostering innovation, the company operates as a SME clearing house, headquartered in London.

Job Description

The role will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects across all departments, in the UK and internationally. She/he will:

Serve as the technical lead and primary point of contact for internal development initiatives.

Manage the disaster recovery plans across the Group.

Oversee the firm IT security implementation and ongoing management.

Oversee the software development life cycle for internal initiatives.

Liaise with business sponsors to gather requirements, prioritise features, and manage stakeholder expectations.

Oversee user access to key platforms.

Oversee the distribution of end of day statements and reports, including successful production and distribution to clients, vendors, regulators, etc.

Manage the firm ServiceNow implementation, including maintaining and developing new business workflows.

The role will be based from our clients London office 4 days a week, and one from home.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a candidate who has worked extensively in both small and large financial services organisations, and they must have experience of working with exchange traded derivatives. This is essential - please highlight this in your CV to be considered. We will look at candidates at Head of/Director or c-suite level. Our client needs strong energy, passion and an independent attitude.
