Head of Sustainability - 6 months

My leading client is looking for an experienced Interim Head of Sustainability to lead on a range of sustainability initiatives this role is strictly 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday). You must have a proven background in developing and implementing strategies to enhance environmental performance and drive sustainable practices throughout the organisation including reporting requirements such has TCFD, GHG and ESG assurance.

Key areas and background

• Proven ability to execute sustainability strategies aligned with the company's goals

• Demonstratable experience in sustainability management within a large and complex corporate environment.

• Experience on sustainability strategies across a broad range of issues including biodiversity, waste, social mobility, human rights, greenhouse gas reporting and transition plan creation and evaluation.

• Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact, improve resource efficiency, and promote sustainable practices.

• Excellent understanding of environmental regulations and sustainability standards.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to develop and implement strategic sustainability initiatives.

• Experience in stakeholder engagement and change management.

• Analytical skills to assess sustainability performance and impact.
