Job Description

The role of Head of Supply Chain will be responsible for:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee procurement operations to secure high-quality materials and services.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to achieve favourable terms.
• Monitor and improve inventory management processes to reduce waste and optimise stock levels.
• Lead and mentor the supply chain team to achieve departmental goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
• Analyse data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and support decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Supply Chain should have:

• Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools.
• A degree or qualification in a relevant field such as supply chain management or business.
