The RoleOh Polly is seeking a dynamic, fashion-forward Head of Social to lead and elevate our global social media presence. The Head of Social will be responsible for shaping the brand's social identity, driving growth across channels, and steering a high-performance social function. You will guide our channel strategy, direction, and execution of best-in-class social content that sharpens desirability and accelerates commercial goals. Managing a high-performing in-house social team and reporting to the Brand Director, this role will play a critical part in shaping Oh Polly.
Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership- Own and lead the global social media strategy across all platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, emerging channels).
- Build a platform-first content strategy designed to drive brand relevance, engagement and revenue
- Translate brand vision and commercial objectives into high-performing social content strategies.
- Lead, mentor and develop a social team (Social Managers, Content Creators, Community, Video Editors).
- Define and evolve tone of voice across platforms.
- Oversee content ideation, creation and execution across always-on, campaign and reactive moments.
- Ensure Oh Polly remains at the forefront of fashion and social trends.
- Champion a creator-first, platform-native approach to content.
- Maintain consistent brand storytelling while adapting for platform-specific performance.
- Develop quarterly social roadmaps aligned to campaigns, product drops, retail moments, influencer strategy and trading activity.
- Own social KPIs and growth targets across engagement, reach, traffic, and assisted revenue.
- Track channel performance & sentiment, reviewing weekly analytics to inform strategy and creative improvement.
- Build measurable KPIs and reporting frameworks to share with senior stakeholders.
- Use data and insights to continually optimise content strategy and team output.
- Monitor competitor and industry performance to identify opportunities and risks.
- Drive innovation, testing new formats, tools and platforms to stay ahead of trends.
- Directly manage members of the social team with overall responsibility for team performance and output.
- Lead, mentor and grow the social team - elevating skills, output, capability and speed.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on creativity, accountability and fast execution, with clear development pathways.
- Set clear objectives, workload planning and performance reviews.
- Ensure strong collaboration between social, PR, influencer and brand teams.
- Lead social strategy for all major brand moments, campaigns and product launches. Oversee content planning, ideation, calendar management and creative output across social.
- Work closely with the Brand Director and Creative to ensure seamless brand alignment.
- Partner with Creative Studio, Influencer Marketing, PR, CRM & E-comm to deliver seamless integrated campaigns.
- Guide content direction for shoots & creator-led content - ensuring inspiration, accuracy and brand handwriting.
- Oversee community management strategy and escalation processes.
- Ensure brand safety, reputation and tone of voice are protected at all times.
- Guide response to sensitive, reactive or crisis moments on social.
- 7+ years' experience in social media, with at least 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Expert knowledge of social culture, digital trends, platform mechanics & luxury/fashion landscape.
- Proven experience leading social strategy for a fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brand.
- Demonstrated success scaling social channels and driving revenue through content.
- Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and emerging platforms.
- Strong leadership experience and confident leader who can motivate teams, communicate clearly and manage multiple workstreams.
- Highly creative with excellent commercial awareness.
- Highly organised with excellent time management and ability to handle fast-moving priorities.
- Data driven mindset, commercially aware, and comfortable owning growth targets.
- Exceptional understanding of internet culture, trends, creators and platform algorithms.
- Confident stakeholder management with the ability to influence at a senior level.

- Salary: £70,000 - £80,000
