Reporting to: Sales & Marketing Director
Manor Farm is pleased to invite internal applications for the position of Head of Sales. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for leading the commercial performance of our Key Account Management function and supporting the delivery of our long term business and commercial strategy.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced commercial leader to step into a key strategic position within the organisation.
About the RoleThe Head of Sales will lead and manage the Key Account Team, with responsibility for delivering agreed targets for growth, NSV and EBIT. The role plays a central part in shaping customer partnerships, driving Joint Business Planning, and developing a high performing sales organisation aligned to Manor Farm's vision and values.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all aspects of the sales and commercial function, with specific responsibility for Big 5 retail customers
- Deliver commercial performance in line with agreed budgets and plans
- Lead the development and execution of Joint Business Plans in partnership with key customers
- Develop and deliver 3 and 5 year strategic sales plans
- Drive the development of Ready to Eat (RTE) business within major retail accounts
- Lead successful new product launches in collaboration with Category Development and Innovation teams
- Build, lead and develop a high performing Key Account Management team
- Work cross functionally to ensure accurate forecasting, volume planning and financial alignment
- Delivery of commercial performance in line with the commercial plan
- Maintaining and growing Manor Farm's "Preferred Supplier" status
- Strong, effective relationships with key retail customers
- Development of a high performing, best practice Key Account team
- Sustained growth in market share
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Key Account Manager or Commercial Controller within an FMCG environment
- Strong knowledge of the Irish retail sector and key customers
- Proven experience developing and delivering Joint Business Plans
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performance commercial teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong commercial awareness, energy and drive
- Demonstrates integrity, trust and accountability
