The team works collaboratively with clinical and operational colleagues to ensure optimal patient outcomes, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement in pharmaceutical services. What you'll do: Lead, manage and develop the Pharmacy service, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality medication practices across the hospital Oversee departmental budgets, financial performance, stock control, and revenue capture Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives Manage, mentor and develop pharmacy staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management Drive clinical governance, audit, and risk management activities, including chairing relevant committees What you'll bring: Registration as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Minimum of 5 years' hospital pharmacy experience Proven leadership experience with responsibility for people, projects, and financial management Strong knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations, governance, and regulatory requirements Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills Why HCA UK?
