Job Description

Join the senior leadership team as Head of Operations / Operations Director Designate and be groomed to take over the current Operations Director role, eventually stepping into the Managing Director position.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the Senior Leadership team, aid development and execution of business strategy and decision making.
• Oversee and manage all operational functions of the business, including Projects, Estimating, Surveying, Production and Installation teams.
• Support, guide and mentor staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and performance; manage direct reports and departmental managers, including team appraisals and disciplinary action.
• Serve as the central point for information flow, ensuring the Managing Director is well informed and strategic messages are effectively communicated and adopted by all staff.

Qualifications

• Live or be able to relocate to a commutable distance to the factory and head office on the south coast.
• Possess sound technical knowledge and understanding of signage production and installation methods.
• Be well organized, able to multi-task and commercially astute.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
