This is a senior, high-impact role for a strategic marketer who wants real ownership - not just oversight. As Head of Marketing, you'll define the marketing direction of a growing B2B technology business, turn commercial goals into clear priorities, and drive performance across all channels and markets.

You'll sit close to the CEO and senior leadership team, shaping decisions that directly impact pipeline, win rates and market perception. Execution is largely delivered through agencies and partners but the thinking, direction and outcomes are firmly yours.

What you'll do
  • Set the marketing direction

  • Establish a strong quarterly planning rhythm and operating cadence
  • Decide where to invest - and where not to
  • Act as the senior day to day lead for agency partners
  • Own channel strategy
  • Your role is to ensure coherence, focus and return on investment across all channels.
  • Drive go to market and product launches
  • Own the marketing side of product launches end to end
  • Build a repeatable GTM process
  • Lead product marketing fundamentals: messaging, positioning, personas and differentiation
  • Align product, sales and marketing across regions
  • Partner closely with sales
  • Embed buyer insight, objections and competitive intelligence into marketing
  • Build tight feedback loops between sales and marketing
  • Own marketing reporting at leadership level
  • Focus on outcomes that matter: pipeline, conversion, revenue influence
Requirements

Who this role is for

You're a commercially minded marketing leader who:

  • Thinks strategically but stays grounded in outcomes
  • Is confident making prioritisation calls - even tough ones
  • Can lead agencies, influence senior stakeholders, and challenge constructively
  • Wants autonomy, visibility and the chance to shape something meaningful
  • Senior B2B marketing leadership (Head of Marketing / Marketing Director level, 7+ years total experience)
  • Proven track record defining and executing marketing strategy, not just managing plans others created
  • Experience managing agencies and external partners to deliver outcomes
  • Confident communicator with senior stakeholders; can challenge constructively
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building structure where little exists
You'll have strong working knowledge across:
  • SEO, PPC and paid social
  • Content and thought leadership
  • Email nurture and sales enablement
  • AI driven marketing tools for efficiency and optimisation
