As part of a replacement, Payot Lausanne is looking for a department manager (H/F) for its department on a permanent basis (41 hours per week), starting mid-October. Main responsibilities include:- Team leadership and control- Management of schedules and ensuring resource allocation- Development and support of teams- Liaison between the team and management, and communicating with colleagues in case of the manager's absence- Ensuring compliance with rules and regulations - Responsible for the balance between variety and profitability, as well as the number of products according to market potential and customer needs- Analyzing sales figures and implementing relevant actionsWe are looking for individuals:- With a diploma in bookstore management or equivalent- With a minimum of 5 years of experience in team management- With a broad and diverse general culture- Curious about new products and current events- Versatile across the entire bookstore- Good communicators, organized, and able to manage stress and priorities- Rigorous, methodical, and comfortable with tools Ready to take on the challenge?
