Head of Late Stage Formulations

This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering robust, scalable formulations for new drug products, ensuring readiness for commercial manufacture while managing technical risk and cross functional collaboration.

As the Head of Late Stage Formulations, you will:

• Lead the development and optimisation of late stage formulations in line with current (V)ICH guidelines.
• Drive scale up and technology transfer from early stage development into manufacturing.
• Apply Quality by Design (QbD) principles to enhance process understanding and define critical process parameters (CPPs).
• Collaborate cross functionally with Operations, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure smooth product transfer and commercial readiness.
• Support regulatory submissions, including preparation and review of technical documentation (protocols, reports, batch records).
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, including external collaborations.

You will have:

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Pharmacy (or similar).
• Strong knowledge of GMP and FDA/EMEA/VICH/ICH requirements.
• Proven people leadership experience.
• Excellent communication and cross functional collaboration skills.
