Head of IT - Lead a Global IT Function

Join a growing, publicly listed reinsurance platform where technology plays a critical role in operational resilience, governance, and business performance. As Head of IT, you'll take ownership of the overall IT strategy, ensuring robust infrastructure, security, and compliance across a multi jurisdictional environment.

This is a hands on leadership role managing a lean, globally distributed team (infrastructure, support, development, and GRC) while remaining closely involved in architecture, vendor strategy, and key decision making. You'll oversee a predominantly cloud based environment, with scope to evaluate cost efficiency and future infrastructure direction.

In this position, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders and committees, driving IT governance, improving service delivery, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks including DORA and NIST, while shaping the evolution of the internal IT function.

You will:

• Lead the IT function across infrastructure, service delivery, governance, and security
• Own IT strategy, roadmap, and budget aligned to business objectives
• Drive operational resilience, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance

Skills / Experience:

• Strong background in IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
• Experience managing cloud environments, vendors, and enterprise systems

Salary / Remuneration:

Up to €100,000 + benefits.
