• Management of the Development, Infrastructure and Implementation Team
• Budget Planning and Revenue Management

Specific Responsibilities of the Job

• Lead and manage the client's capability to ensure robust system stability and development of a fit for purpose support strategy
• Monitor and report on performance and progress against the IT strategy and operational performance, producing monthly performance reports to various boards
• Plan, organise, and manage operations and employees to ensure stable operation and resilience of the organisation's IT infrastructure
• Ensure delivery of the design, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of the network, server, telephony and desktop infrastructures
• Lead the team to ensure excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
• Lead the budget setting process for IT and ensure financial implications are considered for all initiatives
• Provide expertise in development methodology and service delivery
• Ensure compliance with company and other relevant standards/regulations at all times

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent team management and leadership skills with experience of managing a department of at least circa 30 staff
• Significant vendor and supplier management experience
• Excellent analytical, numerate skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to plan and prioritise and work to tight timelines
• Effective decision making capability
• Advantageous if applicants have a Software Development background
