This is a high-impact role with accountability for resourcing, HR operations, systems, analytics and employee experience, ensuring HR delivery is modern, data-driven and closely aligned to business strategy. As a member of the wider HR leadership team, the role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering the organisation's People Strategy in support of long-term strategic objectives in the UK and overseas.

The Role

The Head of HR Delivery will provide strategic and operational leadership across Talent Acquisition, HR Support Services and HR Systems, ensuring the organisation attracts, hires and supports the right people at the right time.

Working closely with senior leaders, the role will translate business priorities into effective HR delivery models, while driving continuous improvement, innovation and a strong focus on employee and candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a business-aligned talent acquisition function covering permanent, early careers and contractor recruitment, ensuring efficient, high-quality end-to-end delivery
  • Own and continuously improve the candidate and hiring manager experience, using insight and metrics to drive performance and best practice
  • Shape and deliver employer brand strategy in partnership with Corporate Communications, ensuring compelling and consistent messaging across careers platforms, social media and external campaigns
  • Build strong relationships with external recruitment and advertising partners to deliver creative, high-impact attraction solutions
  • Contribute to Diversity & Inclusion strategy, championing inclusive hiring practices and innovative approaches to attracting diverse talent and skills
  • Provide strategic leadership of HR Support services, delivering high-quality, transactional and advisory HR support across the full employee lifecycle
  • Drive a "moments that matter" approach to employee experience, ensuring HR services are intuitive, responsive and value-adding
  • Oversee reward and HR support for international operations, providing expert guidance on terms, conditions, risks and compliance
  • Lead the development and deployment of HR analytics and data governance, enabling robust, insight-led decision-making
  • Own the strategy and roadmap for HR systems and technology, leveraging digital solutions to modernise HR delivery and maximise return on investment
  • Ensure strong process management, governance and compliance in line with internal standards, quality frameworks and legislative requirements
Leadership & Team Development
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary HR delivery team, building capability, resilience and future-ready skills
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement and innovation
  • Coach and mentor leaders and team members, supporting both professional growth and personal development
About You

This role is suited to a senior HR leader with a strong blend of strategic insight, operational excellence and commercial acumen, who is comfortable navigating complexity and driving transformation.

You will bring:

  • Senior-level experience across the full spectrum of HR delivery, resourcing and operations
  • A strong academic or professional background in HR or a related discipline (or equivalent senior experience)
  • Deep knowledge of HR policy, practice and employee relations within complex or regulated environments, including experience working with trade unions or employee representatives
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions, removing barriers and delivering outcomes at pace
  • Strong leadership capability, with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams
  • Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, practical solutions
  • High levels of integrity, discretion and professionalism
  • Significant experience of leading change, transformation and large-scale projects
  • A commitment to continuous professional development, ethical leadership and role-modelling organisational values
Why This Role?
