Main duties of the job

As a Head of Housekeeping at a Barchester care home, you will be responsible for creating warm and homely surroundings essential for delivering quality care and support. Your role involves leading a team of housekeeping staff to ensure every room and living space is maintained to the highest standards.

This position requires excellent attention to detail and the ability to motivate and inspire your team to perform at their best.

About you

Experience of housekeeping in a care home, hospital, or hotel environment will be very advantageous. We also look for a proven ability to lead and inspire a team. A caring nature and good communication skills are important as you will often come into contact with other members of staff, residents, and their relatives.

Experience in housekeeping within care home, hospital, or hotel environments, leadership and team motivation skills, excellent attention to detail, caring nature, and good communication skills.
