Main duties of the jobThe Head of Housekeeping is responsible for leading a team of housekeeping staff to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home. This includes ensuring that all rooms, common areas, and living spaces are thoroughly cleaned and well-maintained. The role also involves scheduling and supervising the housekeeping team, as well as providing training and support as needed. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate a team are essential for this position.

Person Specification Qualifications- Experience of housekeeping in a care home, hospital, or hotel environment is highly desirable. A proven ability to lead and inspire a team is also essential. A caring nature and good communication skills are important, as the Head of Housekeeping will often interact with other staff members, residents, and their families.
