Job Description

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join our client, a leading global consumer brand, as their new Head of Global Colleague Relations.

As the organisation continues its impressive growth trajectory, this role will play a pivotal part in strengthening its Colleague First culture ensuring a meaningful, trusted connection between employees and the business worldwide.

The company is undertaking a significant evolution, moving from a traditional Employee Relations (ER) model to a globally connected Colleague Relations Centre of Excellence. This transformation reflects their ambition to build a more strategic, consistent, and internationally aligned approach to colleague relations.

The Head of Global Colleague Relations will lead key strategic priorities including:

  • Designing and delivering a global colleague relations strategy.
  • Establishing consistent processes, frameworks, and escalation pathways.
  • Providing subject matter leadership across high-risk areas such as works councils, unions, and complex labour relations.
  • Strengthening global connectivity and governance in line with CSRD requirements.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, forward-thinking ER leader with global and cross-border experience. They will be comfortable operating at senior levels, bring deep understanding of unionised environments, and ideally have a background in employment law or HR Business Partnering. The ability to lead confidently in a data-light environment, shape future capability, and influence evolving operating models, including outsourcing, will be essential.

Experience within retail or consumer-facing sectors is critical for success in this role.

The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
