This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or current middle leader to take the next step in their career, leading a committed team and driving high standards of teaching, learning and student achievement across Key Stages 3-5.
You will be accountable for:- Leading and developing the Geography curriculum
- Raising standards of attainment and progress
- Managing and developing staff within the department
- Ensuring high-quality teaching, assessment and curriculum delivery
- Contributing to whole-school improvement priorities
- Established, successful team of 5 Geography specialists
- Strong uptake at GCSE and A-Level (300+ GCSE students)
- Well-resourced and housed in a new state of the art building
- Part of a wider Humanities faculty with strong collaboration
