About Your New Job

• As Head of Gardencare, you will be a key member of the senior management team, reporting directly to the CEO.
• You will shape and execute the strategic vision and business plan for Gardencare, driving business development, growth, and profitability.
• Lead and coach Area Managers to achieve their objectives, set and own annual budgets, and oversee topline and margin delivery.
• Identify new customer and sales channel opportunities, build strong commercial relationships, and resolve trading challenges.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Technical teams on marketing plans and new product opportunities, and contribute as a member of the innovation team.
• Present clear, analytical, and fact-based business cases; manage projects with drive, ambition, and a focus on results.

What Skills You Need

• At least 5 years' senior commercial experience, ideally within Horticultural, Garden Centre, or FMCG sectors.
• Business degree or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated achievements in business growth and leadership within dynamic environments.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills; highly proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Full driving license.
