Our client is an international technology-driven organisation. The company delivers highly engineered products and solutions to a global client base and maintains a strong footprint in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
To support one of its most significant and complex business units, we are seeking a senior finance leader to take ownership of Finance & Controlling activities on a global scale.
This position is a senior leadership role with global scope, acting as a key partner to executive management. You will oversee all financial aspects of a major international business unit, operating within a matrix organisation and collaborating closely with stakeholders across multiple regions.
You will lead and coordinate finance teams across different geographies while remaining hands-on in both operational and strategic finance topics.
Key Responsibilities
Full ownership of Finance & Controlling across a global business unit and its international entities
Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis at both operational and strategic levels
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management
Act as a trusted business partner to leadership, supporting decision-making and driving financial transparency
Oversee and continuously improve financial processes, systems, and reporting tools (ERP-based environment)
Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Act as the main point of contact for internal and external audits
Manage tax and transfer pricing topics in a multi-jurisdictional environment
Ensure statutory reporting and tax compliance across relevant countries
Lead, coach, and develop finance teams across multiple locations while fostering collaboration across regions
Education & Experience
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
10+ years of experience in Finance & Controlling
Proven leadership experience in an international environment
Strong track record in multi-entity, multi-country structures
Solid experience with IFRS reporting
Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP advantageous) and reporting tools
Knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing principles
Fluent in English; German is advantageous and additional languages are a plus
Strong leadership presence with the ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels
Resilient, self-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity with confidence
Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills across all levels of the organisation
High level of ownership, integrity, and accountability
Global role with regular international travel
Fully on-site position based in Zug
CH/EU national, or holder of a valid Swiss work permit
