Head of Finance

We are assisting on a search for an established Irish organisation seeking to appoint an experienced Head of Finance.

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the organisation's overall financial performance, control environment and strategic planning. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team, providing clear financial insight and supporting key commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
• Oversee financial reporting, compliance and controls.
• Manage cash flow, working capital and financial risk.
• Provide commercial analysis and decision-making support.
• Improve financial systems, processes and reporting.
• Lead and develop the finance function.
• Support the delivery of strategic business projects.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified accountant-ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role.
• Strong financial, commercial and analytical capabilities.
• Confident operating within a senior leadership environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• A practical, hands on approach combined with strategic thinking.
• Experience within a fast paced commercial organisation would be beneficial.
