Head of Finance

We're looking for a Head of Finance to join our team at Take Take Take!

Full-time London or Oslo

The role

You'll own the day-to-day financial operations and the commercial insights that inform our growth strategy. You'll report to the CFO/CCO, who leads financial strategy, fundraising, growth, and monetisation. Your role is to deliver the financial infrastructure and analysis that allows leadership to make fast, well-informed decisions as we scale.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be the person who makes sure the numbers are right - and who connects those numbers to strategy, spotting the patterns and implications that drive better decisions. You'll handle finance for the full company, on a steep growth trajectory, targeting Series A later this year. A key to success in this role is leveraging AI - both using AI-powered tools to run finance operations more efficiently, and orchestrating AI agents to automate and scale the finance function.

What you'll do

Commercial Strategy & Business Partnering

Provide financial analysis and modelling to inform commercial strategy - including pricing and packaging, channel and product economics, and partnership deal structures

Build and maintain the analytical frameworks needed to evaluate monetisation levers and growth investments

Partner with the growth and product teams to track and report on key metrics (MRR, LTV, CAC, retention, conversion funnels), and support ongoing investor reporting

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Management

Own and maintain the company's financial model, and model and simulate scenarios for strategic decisions

Build and maintain rolling budgets and forecasts, tracking actuals against plan

Monitor cash flow and runway, flagging risks and opportunities to leadership

Financial Operations & Reporting

Prepare monthly management accounts and financial dashboards for the board and leadership team

Own financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely processes

Coordinate with external accountants and auditors (Norwegian GAAP / IFRS as applicable)

Compliance & Controls

Ensure compliance with Norwegian tax and corporate regulations (VAT, payroll tax, etc.)

Maintain and improve internal financial controls, and manage payroll and expense processes

AI & Automation

Identify, deploy, and orchestrate AI agents to automate finance workflows, scaling the function without scaling headcount

Stay on top of emerging AI capabilities relevant to finance and proactively bring new tools and approaches to the team

Who we're looking for

Must-Haves

Solid experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A roles

Strong command of financial reporting and month-end close processes - you'll work with outsourced accountants, not do the bookkeeping yourself

Experience with (or appetite for) working in a high-growth startup - you're comfortable with ambiguity and building in chaos

Strong grasp of financial modelling and proficiency with core finance and accounting tools

Genuine enthusiasm for using AI to automate and scale finance operations

Solid understanding of B2C / SaaS business metrics

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)

Nice-to-Haves

Experience supporting or building finance infrastructure post-fundraise (Series A or similar)

Familiarity with Norwegian accounting standards and tax regulations (or the ability to get up to speed quickly)

Background in consumer tech, gaming, or subscription businesses

Qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent

A chess obsession - or at least openness to develop one
