Head of Finance

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Head of Finance. Reporting to the Managing Directors, this role will be an exciting addition to the company's UK team. You will be an integral part of the UK Management team, leading an accounts department of 4 employees, and you will interact with colleagues from all of our global sites including Germany, Italy, China, and the USA.

Travel to the Head Office in Germany several times per year will be a key part of this role.

As Head of Finance you will oversee the company's financial performance and as part of the management team you will contribute to making decisions which will help the business meet all of its short and long term targets.

Responsibilities

• Monthly management accounts preparation, variance analysis and commentary
• Responsibility for the month end accounting close, Trial Balance, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, compliance, and stock management
• Budgetary planning and forecasting processes including full involvement in the annual budget and updated forecasts

The Successful Candidate Will Have

• ACA/ACCA /CIMA qualified or QBE
• You will have previously worked as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager and have excellent leadership capabilities.
• IT literate with advance Excel skill (required). Experience of SAP (preferred)
