Multi-academy Trust based in Cheshire with exciting plans for growth over the next few years.
Your new role
As Head of Finance, you will be working in a key role, helping to develop the Finance strategy of the Trust and leading the Central Finance function. You will be reporting to the CFOO and developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the Trust.
Please note this is an onsite role with travel to schools expected - full UK driving licence and access to a car needed. Occasional early evenings will be required to attend onsite Governor's meetings.
What you'll need to succeed You will be a fully qualified Accountant (CIPFA/ACA/CIMA/ACCA Level) with a strong technical skillset and experience in similar roles. You will have extensive experience leading a Finance team, ideally within an Education or Not-For-Profit setting. You will be confident liaising with key stakeholders and have strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
