Independent Prep School (Pre-Reception to Year 6)

Applications are invited for the position of Head of Felsted Prep, to succeed Miranda Norris who will leave Felsted in 2027 after five years of exceptional leadership.

Founded in 1564, Felsted School is a leading co educational HMC and IAPS boarding and day school, educating circa 900 students aged 3-18. Located in a picturesque rural village in North Essex, the School occupies a stunning 90 acre campus. Felsted prides itself on being a welcoming and grounded school community which plays to the interests and strengths of the individual. Felsted celebrated 50 years of co education in 2020 and was named "Boarding School of the Year" at the 2023 TES Schools Awards.

The Head of Felsted Prep is a pivotal role for an ambitious and driven leader, deeply committed to the School's ethos and values. The role will work with the Head of Felsted School, Governors and members of the Senior Leadership Team in order to drive forward Felsted Prep for its next exciting chapter. They will ensure Felsted continues to prepare its pupils to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
