Applications are invited for the position of Head of Felsted Prep, to succeed Miranda Norris who will leave Felsted in 2027 after five years of exceptional leadership.
Founded in 1564, Felsted School is a leading co educational HMC and IAPS boarding and day school, educating circa 900 students aged 3-18. Located in a picturesque rural village in North Essex, the School occupies a stunning 90 acre campus. Felsted prides itself on being a welcoming and grounded school community which plays to the interests and strengths of the individual. Felsted celebrated 50 years of co education in 2020 and was named "Boarding School of the Year" at the 2023 TES Schools Awards.
The Head of Felsted Prep is a pivotal role for an ambitious and driven leader, deeply committed to the School's ethos and values. The role will work with the Head of Felsted School, Governors and members of the Senior Leadership Team in order to drive forward Felsted Prep for its next exciting chapter. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary individual with energy, flair and ambition to contribute to a compelling one school vision which builds on the existing strong platform of success and develops further the school in ways which allow for the development and continuation of educational and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of exceptional academic leadership, sound business judgement and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils and staff, engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders internally and externally. They will ensure Felsted continues to prepare its pupils to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
