Head of Engineering

Overview

Head of Engineering, High-Profile Development, Central London. Managing Agent. £90-105,000 Salary. Annual Bonus. Pension Scheme. Healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical services lead for all functions and services across a mixed-use development.
• Lead a team of engineering/technical services managers and act as the technical ambassador for the development, its occupiers and customers.
• Implement and maintain effective management of systems and procedures in the delivery and continuity of service for Mechanical, Electrical, VT, Public Health, IT Infrastructure Services and Energy performance.
• Protect and enhance the landlord's assets and actively manage Health, Safety and Wellbeing for all users of the Estate.
• Provide strategic technical direction, leadership, and operational planning for MEP, VT operations and Energy Management to deliver a world-class service.
• Act as Managing Agent interface for technical activity with support from the central engineering team as required.
• Collaborate with the property and facilities team and deputise for the General Manager / Estate Director when required.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified in an engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical).
• Ideally has completed a full apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a Senior Engineering Management role, or as a hard-services Account Director / Area General Manager with FM service provider experience.
