Job Description
Head of Digital Operations 
The Head of Digital Operations will lead and own the organisation's digital and operational systems landscape, ensuring technology supports business growth, efficiency, and operational excellence. They will be responsible for enterprise applications, infrastructure, data governance, systems integration, cybersecurity, and IT vendor management.
Key Responsibilities- Own the technology roadmap and digital transformation programme.
- Act as the primary decision maker for cross functional technology initiatives.
- Establish governance, risk management, and project review processes.
- Partner with leadership on technology investments and business cases.
- Lead the implementation, optimisation, and support of core business systems, including CRM, scheduling, production, and finance platforms.
- Drive systems integration and eliminate manual processes and spreadsheet dependencies.
- Manage relationships with software vendors and implementation partners.
- Establish data governance standards, ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity.
- Develop reporting and business intelligence capabilities to support operational and financial decision making.
- Lead data migration and standardisation initiatives.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, servers, devices, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance with data protection requirements.
- Manage cybersecurity initiatives, audits, and risk mitigation activities.
- Manage outsourced IT providers and key technology vendors.
- Define and monitor SLAs, performance metrics, contracts, and renewals.
- Lead training, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
- 8 plus years in a senior IT leadership, Digital Operations, or Systems Management role.
- Proven experience delivering complex systems implementations and integrations.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and cloud technologies.
- Experience managing MSPs and third party technology vendors.
- Excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or operational environments.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and data management.
- Strong commercial awareness and decision making ability.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
