They're now looking to bring on board a Head of Design / Design Director who can help lead the design function within the creative department. This agency is a brand, design led creative agency.

Role and reporting

The Head of Design / Design Director will report into the Creative Director, and you'll work alongside the Creative Group Heads and other creatives within the agency.

Responsibilities

The Head of Design / Design Director will be a creative thinker and a problem solver, and your role as Head of Design / Design Director will be to maximise the creative output on projects and to maintain and improve the quality of the creative work the agency produces.

As Head of Design / Design Director you'll have the ability to look beyond the brief, to seek out creative, effective and appropriate solutions to maximise profit and help to secure new work and clients.

The Head of Design / Design Director will have the ability to build and run design teams, and you'll help develop strong client relationships. You'll be a Head of Design / Design Director who can inspire other designers, you'll be an excellent listener, you'll have great communication skills and a strong sense of personal responsibility.

Requirements / Qualifications

You will have a relevant design degree, and we are looking for a Head of Design / Design Director who has at least 12+ years experience working in design at a design / creative agency. You'll be a Head of Design / Design Director with an award winning portfolio that demonstrates your ability to think intellectually about design problems and clearly demonstrates your ability to flex an idea across the different channels of a brand.

You will be a Head of Design / Design Director who can produce inspiring presentations and design work for clients. It's important that we find someone who is client facing, and loves pitching, and a Head of Design / Design Director who is a pitch winner!

We are looking for a Head of Design / Design Director who is a leader, and someone who has a serious amount of drive and ambition. The agency has high expectations, and they're looking for a talented Head of Design / Design Director who can come into the business and lead, direct and grow existing clients.
