Head of Commercial Finance

Overview

We're delighted to be supporting a high growth, multi-site business in their search for a Head of Commercial Finance. This is a newly created role reporting to the Group CFO and will be the driving force behind building a best in class commercial finance function.

A six-figure package is on offer for the right individual and please be note this is a site-based position.

Through organic growth and a number of strategic acquisitions the turnover will increase to over £150m in the next 12-18 months. This role will play an integral part in that growth and help shape the financial future of the business.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the leadership teams to provide clear, practical financial insights to help improve profitability
• Support contract reviews, tenders and investment decisions with robust financial input
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across the business
• Monitor and report on financial performance through clear dashboards and KPIs
• Design and deliver timely, accurate, and relevant MI tailored for different audiences
• Develop forward-looking models and scenario analysis to support decision-making
• Support strategic projects, including acquisitions, due diligence and integration of new teams
• Provide financial leadership to help the business scale effectively while maintaining strong financial discipline

Qualifications

We are seeking a fully qualified senior finance professional with extensive experience leading and developing a high performing Commercial Finance team. You will be comfortable in a high-growth and fast paced environment where you will need to be agile to adapt to business needs.
