Head of Client Accounting

Our Client, is a property management firm who has been established for over 25 years. Their portfolio includes both residential and commercial properties and due to a restructure and new business they are now looking for a Head of Client Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be at a Senior Client Accountant/ Account Manager level looking for their next step up.

THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS for the Head of Client Accounting will include:

• Managing a team of 5 people.
• Overseeing and managing the year-end service charge accounting process.
• Preparing complex year-end service charge accounts.
• Preparing quarterly and annual client reports.
• Responsible for overseeing the Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
• Overseeing credit control and ensuring outstanding balances are closed.
• Maintenance of the property management database and implementation of new AI processes/software.
• Collating and running reports.

THE PERSON and SKILL REQUIREMENTS for the Head of Client Accounting:

• MUST HAVE experience of working in a property finance team.
• Experience of mentoring/managing staff.
• Experience of preparing year-end service charge accounts and client reporting.
• Familiar with Property Management System such as QUBE/TRAMPS/YARDI
• Happy to work 4/ days in the office to start with.
