Overview

Head of Brokerage is responsible for connecting individuals with appropriate social care and support, assessing needs, developing care plans, selecting providers, managing contracts, and advocating for service users. The role will also lead transformation initiatives for the brokerage service, driving process, structure, system, and governance improvements.

• Contribute to the council's social care strategy and operational plans.
• Ensure effective financial management and maximize resources.
• Build strong relationships with service users, providers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance, identify improvement areas, and implement changes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Identify and mitigate risks to service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant legislation and regulations.
