Job Description

Key responsibilities for the Head of Bid Writing - Remote role will include:

• Lead the bid writing team to produce high-quality, compelling submissions.
• Work on bids for organisations including Ministry of Justice, Local Authorities, and NHS.
• Develop and implement bid strategies to secure funding and contracts.
• Ensure compliance with submission requirements, deadlines, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather relevant information for bids.
• Maintain and update bid templates and knowledge repositories.
• Analyse feedback from unsuccessful bids to improve future submissions.
• Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills.

The Successful Applicant

A successful applicant for the Head of Bid Writing - Remote role should have:

• 5+ years experience in Bid Writing. Working specifically on public sector bids processes is an essential requirement.
• Experience winning bids with organisations including the Ministry of Justice, NHS, and local authorities.
• Track record of working on and winning bids from minimum £1M+ in value.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to develop and implement effective bid strategies.
• Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for bid management.
• Knowledge of compliance and funding requirements.
