Description

• Lead and develop the accounting function, shaping team structure, capability and processes to support business goals.
• Improve financial reporting routines, ensuring timely, accurate outputs for monthly, annual and group requirements.
• Oversee cashflow and working-capital monitoring, introducing tools and insights that support performance improvements.
• Manage statutory reporting and audit activity, maintaining strong financial controls and driving policy, process and system enhancements.
• Support organisational change and growth initiatives, including legal entity simplification and financial due diligence for acquisitions.

Profile

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

• Fluent Spanish speaking skills are essential
• Professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the accounting and finance department.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• Ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
