We are seeking an experienced and hands on Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operation at this busy 4 Silver Star Country House Hotel and Spa.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a close knit team delivering memorable experiences, where attention to detail and high standards are essential in creating a flawless environment for every one of our guests.

As Head Housekeeper, you'll take full responsibility for ensuring all guest bedrooms, public areas and event spaces are always presented to an exceptional standard.

Working closely with the wider operations and events team, you'll play a key role in preparing the Hotel, turning rooms around efficiently, and maintaining the high level of presentation expected within a premium, boutique Hotel setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a small, dedicated housekeeping team
• Ensure all bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards, and ensuring arrival rooms are ready, perfect for guest check in at 3pm.
• Manage stock, linen and cleaning supplies efficiently
• Implement and maintain cleaning schedules and procedures
• Carry out regular quality checks and ensure compliance with health & safety standards
• Create a positive, supportive team culture focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences

• Proven experience in a housekeeping management or supervisory role within a quality hotel or venue environment
• A strong eye for detail and a passion for high standards
• A hands on leader who leads by example
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast paced, customer focused environment
• Confident communicator who works well with multiple departments
• Flexible approach, particularly during busy periods
