Our client is seeking a Head of Credit Risk for a designated Business Unit in a Tier II country. The role entails leading the Credit Risk function to ensure effective credit risk management across the entire credit lifecycle. This position involves implementing the Business Unit's credit strategy in alignment with country-level credit objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will support sustainable business growth while maintaining a high-quality credit portfolio.

Job Duties:

• Lead the Credit Risk function for the Business Unit, ensuring adherence to credit management practices.
• Implement the credit strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and the organisation's risk appetite.
• Monitor and analyse external factors affecting credit risks, including economic and regulatory environments.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify trends and potential vulnerabilities, implementing necessary corrective actions.
• Maintain and enhance Business Unit-specific credit policies and procedures aligned with regulatory standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate portfolio performance and risk management effectiveness.
• Foster effective stakeholder relationships to support the achievement of the business strategy.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification in Business Commerce, Finance and Accounting, Generic Management, or Risk Management.
• 8-10 years' experience in Risk Management with extensive knowledge of the entire credit lifecycle.
• Proven track record in large-scale leadership and experience in influencing stakeholders.
• Knowledge in managing credit origination processes (both intuitive and automated) and credit operations.
• Strong ability in monitoring and evaluating risk management effectiveness and promoting good governance.
